Mipo Sparks Comeback

Mipo Odubeko joined Port Vale on loan from West Ham in the summer, and he's been developing his game heaps and bounds since the moment he stepped onto the pitch. The striker, who also plays for Ireland, scored his first goal for the club against Cheltenham Town by finishing a cross with a finely-placed header.

This weekend, his second goal came as a substitute against Forest Green Rovers. It didn’t take long for 19-year-old, to score as he reacted perfectly and found space in a crowded box to slot one home within eight minutes of coming on to the field. This sparked a comeback for The Vale side, who were trailing 2-0 before his introduction. The game finished 2-2.
